Job summary

CHR is seeking a Registered Nurse at Mills House in Windsor, CT. This part-time role (15 hours per week) involves direct clinical care within a 24/7 residential setting for boys aged 14-21 with behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities include medication management, crisis assessment, treatment planning, and coordination with families and community resources. Requires CT RN licensure and CPR/First Aid certification (or within 90 days).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with RN licensure.
• Experience working with patients with substance use and mental health disorders.
• Experience in a managed care environment is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification may be required or obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services in a 24/7 residential setting for youth.
• Monitor and document interventions, mood, and behavior.
• Coordinate treatment planning for behavioral health and medical needs.
• Supervise on-site and off-site lab testing per policy.
• Educate clients and families on medications, recovery skills, and self-care.
• Transport clients as needed and maintain a safe milieu.
• Perform administrative duties as directed by supervisor.
