Job summary

CHR Career Opportunities is recruiting a Registered Nurse for Mills House in Windsor, CT. The role is part-time (15 hours per week) with scheduled hours TBD. You will provide direct nursing services within a 24/7 residential program serving youths with complex behavioral health needs.

Requirements include RN licensure in CT and experience with substance use and mental health disorders. CPR/First Aid certification is required or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in CT.
• Experience with patients with substance use and mental health disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services in a 24/7 residential setting.
• Demonstrates understanding of treating substance use and co-occurring disorders.
• Intervenes to maintain a positive milieu and build rapport with clients.
• Documents interventions and client observations in a professional manner.
• Transports clients as needed and supports recovery skills.
