Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead nursing operations at the Concord facility, ensuring staffing, quality care, documentation, and regulatory compliance in a behavioral health and detox setting.

The role partners with executive leadership and medical staff to oversee admissions, detox protocols, MARs, EMRs, and chart audits. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license valid for practice in North Carolina.
• CPR/BLS and First Aid certification as required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate nursing coverage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee nursing staff while maintaining appropriate staffing and coverage.
• Develop and manage nursing schedules based on facility and program needs.
• Provide clinical leadership and ensure adherence to nursing policies and standards.
• Oversee detox protocols and accurate monitoring (vital signs, COWS, CIWA).
• Support efficient nursing admissions and manage documentation and MARs.
• Maintain DEA logs and narcotic count documentation.
• Conduct nursing chart audits for quality and compliance.
• Partner with leadership to prepare for regulatory surveys.
• Ensure staff practice within licensure scope.
• Address staff and client concerns promptly.
• Support staff development and on-call coverage as needed.
