Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare Inc. in Concord, NC is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead nursing operations within a 74-bed behavioral health and detox setting.

You will oversee staffing, clinical documentation, and compliance while collaborating with executives, medical providers, and program leadership to ensure high quality patient care. This full-time role offers competitive compensation ($75,000–$80,000) and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license valid for North Carolina.
• CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications, as required.
• Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate nursing coverage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee nursing staff while maintaining appropriate staffing and coverage.
• Develop and manage nursing schedules based on facility and program needs.
• Provide clinical leadership and ensure adherence to nursing policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
• Oversee detoxification protocols, including vital signs, COWS, CIWA, and other required monitoring.
• Support efficient nursing admissions, including admissions outside normal hours.
• Monitor nursing documentation, including EMRs and MARs.
• Maintain DEA logs and narcotic count documentation.
• Conduct nursing chart audits to monitor quality of care and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with medical and operational leadership to prepare for regulatory and accreditation surveys.
• Ensure nursing staff practice within licensure scope.
• Address nursing-related client and staff concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support staff development and accountability.
