Job summary

Baptist Hospitals of Southeast TX in Beaumont, TX seeks a Registered Nurse-Behavioral Health-Nurse Manager for day shift to lead a designated patient care area and drive delivery of high-quality nursing care.

The Nursing Clinical Manager reports to the Administrative Director and Chief Nursing Executive, promoting hospital goals and evidence-based practice while ensuring regulatory compliance and staff development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with BSN.
• 3-5 years related experience.
• Current RN License in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Advocates use of documented best practices and mentors staff to routinely utilize evidence-based data; collaborates with nursing peers and faculty in nursing research.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing practice and the roles of patient care team members.
• Manages staff performance to ensure accountability through rewards, recognition, coaching, counseling and disciplinary action.
• Ensures compliance with State Nurse Practice Act, Texas Department of Health regulations, regulatory agency standards and organizational policies.
• Supports budgeting and cost control by achieving targets and maintaining department resources.
