Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN Manager for Behavioral Health to lead patient care services, ensuring high quality, safe, and compliant care within the unit. The role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, and collaboration across disciplines to optimize outcomes.

The incumbent will supervise staff, manage staffing and scheduling, and promote evidence-based practices while maintaining open lines of communication with all team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an acute care setting.
• MI RN License required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in nursing and organizational policy formulation and decision-making.
• Evaluate quality and appropriateness of health care while promoting patient-centered care.
• Coordinate nursing care with other disciplines and integrate services across the continuum.
• Provide guidance and supervision of staff and oversee staffing and scheduling.
• Ensure staff orientation and provide feedback on development and progress.
• Develop, implement and monitor budgets for the assigned area.
• Encourage evidence-based practice and shared accountability for professional practice.
• Maintain open communication with staff and address issues promptly.
