Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• CPR certification and de-escalation technique certification.
• 1–3 years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Preferred: prior assessment/evaluation experience in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Receive inquiry calls and schedule face-to-face assessments.
• Triage patients to the appropriate community referral based on patient need.
• Coordinate with physicians to ensure appropriate treatment disposition.
• Ensure EMTALA compliance and emergency screening procedures.
• Document all inquiries, admissions, and required data in the system.
• Complete admission paperwork and initiate payor authorization as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Identify and refer to community resources when appropriate.
