Job summary
Behavioral Health Network (BHN) in Western Massachusetts is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS) team. You will provide compassionate, person-centered nursing care to individuals in treatment.
Responsibilities include nursing assessments, med administration, care coordination with providers, patient education, documentation, and discharge planning; MA RN license and 1 year behavioral health/medical-surgical experience required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Massachusetts RN license is required.
- At least 1 year in behavioral health and 1 year post-grad medical-surgical nursing.
- Strong assessment, medication administration, and care coordination skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered nursing services in CSS.
- Complete intake and comprehensive nursing assessments.
- Transcribe, verify, and administer medications; maintain records.
- Coordinate referrals and treatment plans with providers and staff.
- Educate individuals and families about recovery, health, meds, and strategies.
- Complete documentation on time and assist with discharge planning.
