Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct and indirect patient care within our Behavioral Health Network. Utilizing the nursing process, you will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maintain a safe, structured milieu and respond quickly to changes in condition.

Shift: 11p–7:30a, every other weekend and every other holiday. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited school of Nursing and a CT RN license, BLS certification on hire, CPI

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and have a current Registered Nurse license with the state of Connecticut.
Must have certification in BLS upon hire and maintain clinical competency during employment.
Must be trained in CPI and de-escalation techniques and receive certification within 3 months of hiring into the role.

Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to provide high quality direct and indirect patient centered care.
Coordinate patient care by working with the interdisciplinary team and communicate changes in condition.
Promote a safe, structured, therapeutic milieu and age-appropriate care across the patient population.
