Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in a Behavioral Health context. The role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to address dual diagnosis and ensure safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and have a current Registered Nurse license with the state of Connecticut.
• Must have certification in BLS upon hire and maintain clinical competency during employment.
• Must be trained in CPI and de-escalation techniques and receive certification within 3 months of hiring into the role.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide high quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinates patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicates regularly on the patient’s clinical condition and responds quickly to changes.
• Maintains a safe, structured milieu with age-appropriate care.
