Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Addiction Recovery Center. You will support admission, medication administration, lab draws, withdrawal monitoring, and ongoing patient care in a 20-bed inpatient unit, with a 35-day average stay and 24/7 nursing coverage.

Ideal candidates have nursing licensure in Michigan and strong assessment skills. Behavioral health experience is helpful; newcomers with empathy and flexibility are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• If ADN, willing to enroll in BSN within 3 years of start date and obtain BSN within 5 years.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and delivery of compassionate, evidence-based patient care that meets established quality standards.
• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care outcomes.
• Delegate, supervise, and document patient care activities and educational interventions for patients and their families.
• Communicate patient and family information to the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Identify clinical variances and implement targeted solutions to achieve and maintain patient care goals.
