Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Bed Control/Transfer Center Registered Nurse (BCTC RN) to coordinate and assign beds and to evaluate and document patient transfers into PAH. You will work with the ED, inpatient units, surgical services and referring physicians to optimize patient flow and care.

The role requires a BSN and 3–5 years of RN experience in acute care, with preference for critical care or emergency/trauma background.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 3–5 years RN experience in an acute care setting required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required

Work Experience:

• 3 years to 5 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting Required
• Experience in critical care or emergency/trauma Preferred
• Proficient with EPIC EMR platform Required
• Charge nurse or higher level of leadership experience/responsibility Preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through American Heart Association Required
