The role requires collaboration with ED, inpatient units, physicians, and administration, leveraging EPIC EMR and strong problem-solving to determine the best care pathway for each patient.

Competenze

• BSN required.
• 3–5 years of RN experience in an acute care setting required.
• Experience in critical care or emergency/trauma preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• RN license in Georgia and/or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure required.

They are also responsible for evaluating, coordinating, processing, screening, and documentation of patient transfers into PAH. The BCTC RN collaborates with physician offices, emergency department, inpatient units, surgical services and procedural areas to facilitate patient flow and provide optimum service to all patients and physicians. At times the BCTC RN must assess patients for the most appropriate level of immediate care and optimal bed placement. Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required

Work Experience

• 3 years to 5 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting Required
• Experience in critical care or emergency/trauma Preferred
• Proficient with EPIC EMR platform Required
• Charge nurse or higher level of leadership experience/responsibility Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through American Heart Association Required
