Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center is seeking a Part Time Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Care Coordinator for the Surgical Services Team. Schedule is flexible, with hours typically 8-5 Mon-Wed.

The role focuses on coordinating bariatric patient care with providers, triaging patients, and supporting care quality while navigating the preoperative to postoperative journey in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Idaho as RN.
• Oregon RN license within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.
• Registration as an MBS Coordinator preferred.
• Three years of direct patient care desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate bariatric patient care with providers.
• Triages bariatric patients telephonically/in-person.
• Conduct pre-visit chart reviews to assess needs.
• Develop and provide patient education.
• Coordinate care across the continuum and support quality improvement.

Skills

RN license Idaho

RN license Oregon within 6 months

BSN preferred

MBS Coordinator registration preferred

3 years direct patient care
