Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center is seeking a Part Time Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Care Coordinator in Boise, Idaho. The role involves coordinating bariatric patient care with providers, triaging patients, and supporting education and care across the continuum.

The position emphasizes performance improvement activities and collaborative teamwork within the Metabolic and Bariatric Center, with a flexible schedule Mon-Wed 8-5, and a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Idaho as a Health Care Professional (RN).
• Licensed in Oregon as a Health Care Professional (RN) within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.
• Registration as an MBS Coordinator preferred.
• Three years of direct patient care experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate bariatric patient care with providers across the continuum.
• Triage bariatric patients telephonically and in person.
• Review pre-visit charts to assess care needs and anticipate requirements.
• Educate patients and coordinate care across the pathway.
• Support quality improvement activities within the Metabolic and Bariatric Center.
