Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Part Time Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Care Coordinator to join the Surgical Services Team. Schedule is flexible and possibly subject to change, with hours Monday–Wednesday 8–5.

You will coordinate bariatric patient care with providers, triage patients, review charts, develop patient education, and support quality improvement across the metabolic and bariatric center.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Idaho as Registered Nurse (RN).
• Oregon RN license within 6 months of hire preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Registration as an MBS Coordinator preferred.
• Three years of direct patient care experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Knows, understands, and demonstrates the Organization's Mission, Vision, and Core Values in behavior and decisions.
• Knowledge of performance improvement, billing, coding, and documentation requirements highly desired.
• Knowledge of evidence-based methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing, and computer skills are essential.
