AdventHealth Zephyrhills is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead a unit and oversee venous access and infusion therapy. The role emphasizes high standards of patient safety, staff development, and quality improvement in an acute care setting.

You will mentor staff, oversee care plans, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to patients and families.

Formación

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• 1+ charge nurse or relevant leadership experience is preferred.
• 1+ nursing experience within the acute care setting is preferred.
• RN licensure is required; BLS CPR certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient responses and needs.
• Assess patients' conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and address any complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Monitor performance of nursing staff, provide feedback, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to ensure standards are met.
• Foster professional growth by identifying training needs and mentoring staff.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data and implementing strategies to enhance patient care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies.
