The Assistant Nurse Manager of Obstetrics will support a combined Labor & Delivery and postpartum unit that welcomes more than400 babies each year. The team provides coordinated care throughout labor, birth, recovery, mother-baby bonding, and postpartum education. This integrated model helps nurses build strong relationships with families while developing broad expertise across obstetrics, newborn transition, postpartum care, and women’s services.

In this role, the Assistant Nurse Manager Women’s Services will help guide daily operations, staffing, patient flow, clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and team development. The nursing leader will coach staff, coordinate schedules, support education, and respond to changing clinical needs. Close collaboration with nurses, obstetric providers, anesthesia professionals, pediatric and newborn clinicians, pharmacists, laboratory staff, case managers, and social workers helps create safer care and smoother workflows.
