Job summary

Apploi is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our Florida team. You will work with the Director of Nursing to oversee and coordinate all nursing activities, ensuring patient care and safety across the organization.

Responsibilities include developing nursing policies, guiding staff, collaborating on patient care plans, monitoring outcomes, documenting care activities, managing schedules, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. Spanish language skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license is required and must be in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role in healthcare.
• Experience with shift management and scheduling preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training and mentoring.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes; adjust care plans as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Oversee nursing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Support infection control coordination and education development.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
• Represent the team to ensure patient safety and high-quality operations.
• Stay updated on medical technology and best nursing practices.
