Aspire Senior Living Joplin is seeking an experienced RN to serve as Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) on a full-time basis. You will lead daily clinical operations, partner with leadership, and drive quality patient care while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Missouri.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience in long term care preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and overseeing nursing services.
• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing staff to ensure professional growth and high morale.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care and implement improvement plans as needed.
• Oversee staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
• Conduct rounds to assess patient conditions and ensure proper nursing interventions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as facility policies.
• Assist in preparing for audits, inspections, and surveys.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff competencies.
• Facilitate continuing education and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
• Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, patients, and families to ensure clear communication and optimal care.
• Collaborate with other departments to support interdisciplinary care planning.
