Job summary

Spring River Rehabilitation & Care Center in Roswell, NM is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to partner with the Director of Nursing and lead the clinical operations of the skilled nursing community. This RN role focuses on clinical oversight, staff development, and quality improvement to enhance resident outcomes.

You will be a visible, hands‑on nursing leader, responsible for rounding, coaching, and ensuring safe, resident-centered care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN with leadership experience.
• Experience in skilled nursing settings preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily leadership and operation of the Nursing Department.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout the facility and round with staff.
• Monitor clinical operations, provide guidance, and address resident-care concerns.
• Develop and coach nurses and CNAs, support recruitment and onboarding.
• Ensure patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory readiness.
