Job summary

Spring River Rehabilitation & Care Center in Roswell, NM is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to partner with the Director of Nursing and lead clinical operations for the skilled nursing community.

The ADON will oversee clinical operations, resident outcomes, staff development, regulatory compliance, and survey readiness while serving as a hands-on nursing leader across shifts.

Qualifications

• RN with nursing leadership experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and survey readiness.
• Ability to coach and develop nursing staff and CNAs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily leadership and operation of the Nursing Department.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout the facility and round with residents and staff.
• Provide clinical guidance and coaching to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing team members.
• Participate in staffing, scheduling, and workforce management to meet resident needs.
• Monitor nursing documentation for accuracy and timeliness; support quality improvement and resident outcomes.
• Support infection prevention practices and regulatory compliance within Nursing.
