Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking an RN Assistant Clinical Manager for the Emergency Department on nights. The role combines clinical leadership with administrative oversight to ensure safe, high-quality patient care in a Level II Trauma and Magnet designated setting.

The position reports to the Director/Nurse Manager and supports budgets, quality initiatives, staffing, and policy compliance while guiding personnel performance and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Two (2) years RN experience required.
• Must meet HFHS Customer Service Policy standards and behaviors.
• Must practice customer service skills through training.
• Must possess self-direction, teamwork, adaptability and respect for diversity.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct patient care within the department.
• Assist in development and monitoring of budgets, quality programs, staffing, goals, and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to policies and departmental regulatory adherence.
• Participate in evaluation and discipline of personnel as needed.
• Support ED leadership under the Director/Nurse Manager.

Excellent opportunity for the experienced Emergency Department RN to step into a leadership role at a Level II Trauma, Magnet Designated organization!

Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role. This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department. The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department. Also the Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  
• Two (2) years RN experience
  
• Must meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined in the HFHS’ Customer Service Policy: Communication; Ownership; Understanding; Motivation; Sensitivity; Excellence; Teamwork; Respect
  
• Must practice the customer skills as provided through on-going training and in-services
