Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of all sections of MDS coding to maximize reimbursement for patient care.
• Ensure accuracy of clinical paperwork and documentation for reimbursement and patient care.
• Nursing Educator: train nursing staff to ensure accurate, timely documentation.
• Nurse Management: participate in nursing leadership to improve patient-centered outcomes.
• Case management with managed care to maximize therapy and nursing services for residents.
• Manage clinical and financial record keeping and share with payers.
• Co-manage care conferences with social workers.
• Perform other duties as required.
