Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an RN for the Ambulatory Surgery Center - Pre/Post at Marymount Hospital's ASC PACU in Garfield Heights. The role involves patient care coordination, perioperative nursing, and collaboration with the care team to support outpatient procedures.

The ideal candidate holds RN licensure, BLS, PALS, and ACLS within six months, with 1 year perioperative or critical care experience, or 3 years surgical tech experience. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS and PALS certifications.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• One year perioperative/critical care RN experience or three years surgical tech experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical practice of nursing in the ASC, assessing patient care needs and planning delivery of care.
• Direct other caregivers in providing patient care.
• Report variances from standard practice to the Nurse Manager.
• Develop educational materials and provide health education to patients and families.
• Process patients through the ASC and ensure resource availability.
• Participate in ASC goals, cost-effective practices, and quality monitoring programs.
