Are you ready to advance your nursing career? Join Indiana's foremost healthcare organization as we seek a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Ambulatory Navigator to enhance our Medical and Molecular Genetics team.
This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday daytime schedule, with an opportunity for a hybrid work model (combining in-clinic, 2-3 days per week, and remote work) following the completion of training and orientation.

Position Overview:
In your role as an RN Ambulatory Navigator, you will be essential in coordinating the care of assigned patients and developing comprehensive plans to effectively manage their healthcare paths. You will work closely with patients and their primary care physicians to create personalized care strategies that meet each individual's needs and preferences. Collaboration is key, as you will partner with physicians, nurses, health professionals, social workers, and others to ensure timely and efficient delivery of necessary tests and treatments. Additionally, you will advocate for your patients, balancing care needs with financial considerations to achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
- Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- Specialty certifications may be required per unit/department specialty in accordance with the department provision of care.
- Requires knowledge of personal computers using various types of word processing and database software.
- Requires clinical work experience, medical terminology.
- Requires understanding of medical record requirements, regulations and policies.
