Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an RN for ambulatory care in the Head and Neck Surgery department at the Main Campus. The role involves direct patient interaction, care planning, medication administration, and education, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive team environment.

The position offers a standard Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.) or four 10-hour shifts (7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) with no weekend work, and requires state RN licensure, ADN/BSN,

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current state RN license.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• One year of RN experience.
• LPN/MA or other substitution allowed for current Cleveland Clinic ambulatory caregiver transferring into RN role.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify physician of abnormal findings.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and specialized equipment.
• Develop and document health education for patients and families.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and procedures as needed.
