Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a comprehensive RN to join the Ambulatory Executive Health unit in Cleveland, OH. You will provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting and interact directly with patients and families to improve their healthcare experience.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, telephone triage, care planning, medication administration, CPR, and collaboration with physicians. Travel within the region to support clinics and procedures may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician and/or LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and equipment.
• Develop, evaluate, adapt and document patient education for patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed

About This Role

As an RN in the Ambulatory Executive Health unit at Cleveland Clinic, you will provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, interacting directly with patients and families to enhance their healthcare experience.

Highlights

• Pay: $33.50 - $53.40/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift (Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm or 8:30am to 5:30pm)

What You'll Do

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
• Administer medication and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, and specialized patient care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate, adapt, and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)

Experience

• One year of recent experience as an RN OR LPN, Medical Assistant, and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role.

Licenses & Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification within six months of hire (if performing moderate sedation procedures and/or cardiac stress testing)
