Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Fitchburg Clinic in Wisconsin. The role focuses on geriatric patient care, telephone triage, and hands-on clinical duties in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• 6 months RN experience required.
• RN licensure in state of employment or compact licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification upon hire required.
• Applicable clinical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone triage and patient education in a fast-paced clinic.
• Deliver hands-on patient care in a clinic setting.
• Collaborate with geriatric, primary and specialty care teams (Falls, Memory, Geriatric Assessment).

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who:

• Enjoys working with the geriatric population.
• Works in a fast-paced clinic speaking directly with patients doing telephone triage, assisting patients with their complex health care needs in addition to hands on patient care in clinic.
• A clinic that is primary care and specialty care. Subspecialties include Falls Clinic, Memory Clinic, Geriatric Assessment Clinic etc.
• Works well in a collaborative environment where teamwork is vital.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience

• 6 months of RN experience Required
• Relevant RN experience Preferred
