Job summary

Baptist Health in Alabama seeks an RN Advanced Clinical Educator to develop staff through education, serving as educator, consultant, facilitator, change agent, leader and researcher. The Educator fosters knowledge through evidence-based practice and adult learning principles across clinical areas.

Requirements include MSN with 2+ years teaching in clinical/academic settings, 5+ years clinical experience in critical care, med/surg, women's, pediatrics or ED, and an active RN license with BLS;

Qualifications

• MSN required with evidence of teaching/education experience.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching/education in clinical or academic settings.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in the served area.
• Active RN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Develop staff through education as Educator, Consultant, Facilitator, Leader and Researcher.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate competency, continuing education and leadership development.
• Foster empowerment and knowledge using evidence-based practice and adult learning principles.
• Serve as a role model of professional behavior; adapt duties as assigned.
