Qualifications

• MSN required with evidence of teaching/education experience of at least 2 years in clinical or academic settings.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in the served areas (Critical Care, Med/Surg, Women''s Services, Peds or ED).
• Active RN license required; BLS required; additional area-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop staff through education as Educator, Consultant, Facilitator, Change Agent, Leader, and Researcher.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate competency, continuing education and leadership development.
• Serve as a role model of professional behavior and support evidence-based practice.
