Job summary

Boulder Crossing Health & Rehabilitation in Streetsboro, OH is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead our clinical team. As ADON, you will work with the Director of Nursing to supervise nursing staff, improve resident care, and ensure regulatory compliance in a brand-new skilled nursing facility.

The ideal candidate is an Ohio-licensed RN with at least 1 year in long-term care, seeks a leadership role, and values teamwork, quality outcomes, and compassionate resident

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited RN nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• CPR Certification.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to successfully complete all required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management and supervision of nursing services.
• Support and mentor licensed nurses and nursing assistants
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations
• Assist with scheduling and staffing to ensure quality resident care
• Monitor clinical documentation and resident assessments
• Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and federal regulations
• Participate in Resident Care Conferences and interdisciplinary meetings
• Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Address resident and family concerns professionally and promptly
• Assist with infection prevention and quality improvement initiatives
• Coordinate nursing education, orientation, and ongoing in-service training
• Support emergency response and clinical problem-solving
• Promote Residents' Rights and person-centered care
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, consultants, and administration
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator
