Wabash Senior Living & Rehabilitation in Carmi, Illinois, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). You will work with the Director of Nursing and facility leadership to support daily clinical operations and elevate resident care.

This leadership role focuses on guiding staff, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements while fostering a resident-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license in good standing.
• Nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily nursing department operations.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff.
• Help maintain high standards of resident care and clinical performance.
• Monitor resident conditions, documentation, and care practices.
• Assist with staff education, training, and development.
• Support staffing and nursing department needs.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Help maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the Administrator, DON, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team.
• Promote a positive culture of teamwork, accountability, and resident-centered care.
