SAK Management in Illinois is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, directing and evaluating Nursing Department services, promoting a holistic, rehabilitative approach to resident care.

The ADON will ensure regulatory compliance, supervise staff, coordinate care with physicians and families, and maintain communication across the healthcare team, while stepping in for the Director as needed.

Competenze

• Active RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Advanced education and/or experience in nursing management/administration (one year recommended).
• Desire to work with elders and others needing assistance.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.

Mansioni

• Establish and implement objectives for the Nursing Department in line with regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and monitor Resident rounds and care quality.
• Ensure adequate staffing through training and personnel processes.
• Communicate significant changes in Residents' status to physicians and families.
• Build rapport with facility staff, healthcare team, Residents and family members.
• Implement standards of care, policies and procedures.
• Work on the floor when necessary.
• Conduct monthly quality audits of indicators using audit tools.
