Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a skilled ADON/MDS Nurse Coordinator who will lead the MDS process, develop assessments, and ensure timely transmission in accordance with regulations. The role emphasizes case management of care plans and rehabilitative programs to maintain high standards of resident care.

The ideal candidate holds an Ohio RN license, has MDS and restorative nursing experience, and is proficient with EMR/submission duties.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of approved nursing program.
• Licensure/Certification: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience: MDS experience is required and Restorative Nursing experience.
• Computer Skills: Sufficient level computer skills to perform electronic medical record/submission duties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development, completion and transmission of assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements and reviews and manages reimbursement.
• Case manage care plans, including rehabilitative programs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of clinical standards of practice, regulations and reimbursement governing long-term care and Medicare participation.
• Lead and deliver high quality services in a person-centered environment.
