Job summary

Olivia Restorative Therapy and Nursing in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join the leadership team at our residential care facility. This RN leader will support the Director of Nursing in managing daily clinical operations and ensuring high-quality, compliant resident care.

The ADON will help supervise nursing staff, participate in audits, training, and QA programs, and may serve as acting DON when needed.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing regulations, documentation standards, and survey processes.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing in overseeing nursing services and day-to-day clinical operations.
• Monitor quality of care, staffing levels, and resident outcomes.
• Assist with staff training, performance evaluations, and clinical education.
• Participate in audits, rounds, and quality assurance programs.
• Promote resident-centered care and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as acting DON in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
