Excelsior Care Group in Clark, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This role supports the Director of Nursing in driving clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and a resident-centered culture within a skilled nursing setting.

You will lead nursing staff, oversee daily clinical operations, and ensure adherence to care standards while fostering collaboration and communication across the facility.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years of long-term care experience.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe, respectful, and high-quality care environment for residents.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure adherence to care standards and best practices.
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, residents, families, and facility leadership.
• Proactively address clinical concerns and support interdisciplinary care plan development.
• Participate in wound care rounds and promote infection control initiatives.
• Assist with state surveys, audits, and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Encourage open communication and promote a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
