Job summary

Touchstone Communities’ Stone Oak Care Center in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead a large nursing team in a high-demand skilled nursing environment.

This hands-on leader works on the floor, supports the team during busy times, participates in on-call rotation, upholds clinical excellence and resident care, and helps create a positive, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License (or Compact State license).
• Experience leading large nursing teams in skilled nursing.
• Calm, confident leader with strong communication and clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily clinical operations with the Director of Nursing.
• Lead, mentor, and support nurses and CNAs.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and provide leadership off-hours.
• Lead by example to support floor staffing.
• Promote clinical excellence, compliance, and resident care.
