AVIR Health Group is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical management and ensuring quality patient care in a Texas facility.

The role focuses on building a strong nursing team, maintaining compliance with long-term care standards, and fostering a family-centered, safe environment. Walk-ins welcome daily as part of outreach and staffing efforts.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Nursing License.
• CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.
• Knowledge of infection control and prevention.
• Understanding of long-term care operational standards as set forth in Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Director of Nursing with overall clinical management of the facility.
• Contribute to building a high-performing team and culture.
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff and ensure quality patient care.
