Harborview-At-Doylestown is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) specializing in infection control and wounds. This leadership role oversees nursing services, policy development, budgeting, and staff training to ensure high-quality resident care in a long-term care setting.

Requirements include a valid RN license, at least 2 years of nurse management experience, and prior work in a long-term care facility or related healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Experience in a long-term care facility or similar healthcare setting.
• Minimum of 2 years of nurse management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update nursing service objectives and philosophy.
• Set standards of nursing practice.
• Maintain nursing policy and procedures.
• Create written job descriptions for nursing staff levels.
• Schedule daily resident rounds.
• Coordinate nursing with other resident services.
• Recruit and retain required nursing personnel levels.
• Develop staff training programs.
• Participate in budget planning for nursing services.
• Ensure health service notes accurately reflect care and resident responses.
• Assess resident nursing needs with Medical Director for care planning.
• Participate in resident assessment (MDS) and care planning.
