Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a registered nurse for a pediatric psychiatry unit serving ages 2–18. The RN coordinates care, educates patients and families, and supports smooth transitions of care in a highly structured environment.

The role requires an RN license and BLS, with flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call. A BSN is encouraged if the RN starts after April 1, 2020. This is a full-time position on site in Generose 1W.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program as recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of professional RN experience required.
• BSN within five years if RN start date is after April 1, 2020.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education.
• Support transitions of care across the continuum.
• Deliver direct patient care within a pediatric psychiatry unit.
