Job summary

View Point Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Adolescent Crisis Stabilization Unit in Decatur, GA. The role involves assessing health problems, developing care plans, administering medications, and providing crisis intervention within a 24/7 residential program for youths aged 14-17.

The RN will supervise shift staff, communicate with guardians and facilities, and ensure documentation and patient education meet standards. A Georgia RN license and nursing degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Current Georgia RN license required.
• Any related professional work experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and develop initial nursing treatment plans.
• Administer medications per physician orders and provide crisis intervention services.
• Coordinate care with guardians, admissions staff, and onsite treatment team.
• Document vitals, assessments and medical notes in the electronic health record.
• Ensure nursing care respects the needs of the population served.
