Job summary

Legacy Health seeks an RN Administrative Supervisor to coordinate interdepartmental services, patient placement, and clinical support to ensure safe nursing care. In collaboration with the on-call administrator, you will support disaster coordination, policy interpretation, and provide a clinical resource role for staff.

You will lead communication, CQI initiatives, and professional development while maintaining a positive, inclusive work environment for Legacy Portland Hospitals.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in nursing (BSN or MSN/MN) required; MSN/MN preferred.
• Acute clinical nursing and prior supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of clinical and nursing unit function and access to resources both administrative and organizational.
• Current applicable state RN licensure.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordination of services to maximize patient outcomes and resource use.
• Clear written and verbal communication; act as ombudsman for patients, families, staff and physicians on shift.
• Uphold mission, values and promote a positive work environment.
• Support Continuous Quality Improvement and cost-effective, safe nursing practices.
