Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care (Step-Down) units. You will provide high-acuity patient care in the Acute Medical Step-Down unit and have opportunities to grow through Preceptor, Clinical Practice Leader, and Relief Charge roles.

This full-time, 12-hour night shift includes night/weekend differentials, sign-on and relocation support, and options for education reimbursement and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required at time of hire.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher required.
• State RN license (NM) or Compact State license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in Progressive Care/Acute Medical Step-Down units.
• Support nursing leadership through Preceptor and clinical practice leadership roles.

Progressive Care units include Acute Medical Step-Down. In Progressive Care, there are opportunities for RNs to gain leadership experience through Preceptor, Clinical Practice Leader, Relief Charge and Quality Improvement roles.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or above required.
• Degree from accredited academic nursing program preferred
• Registered Nurse-NM
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
• BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
