Job summary

Mercy Pittsburg is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient care in the Acute Rehab unit. You will use the nursing process to assess and plan care, while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality.

You will collaborate with therapy staff and other departments to achieve optimal outcomes and help patients return to the community with personalized care plans.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.

Position Details:

The Acute Rehab is 12 bed unit with Mercy Pittsburg that strives to get patients back into the community successfully. Acute Rehabilitation Unit provides a healing environment where patients receive personalized care tailored to their unique needs. We encourage our patients to be independent and work closely with therapy staff to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• License: Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
