Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking an experienced RN for the Acute Rehab unit at Mercy Pittsburg. The role focuses on providing individualized patient care through the nursing process, ensuring accountability and high standards while coordinating with therapy staff and other departments.

You will uphold patient rights and confidentiality and work within Mercy's mission and values to promote recovery and independence for patients.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current RN license in state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.

Position Details:

The Acute Rehab is 12 bed unit with Mercy Pittsburg that strives to get patients back into the community successfully. Acute Rehabilitation Unit provides a healing environment where patients receive personalized care tailored to their unique needs. We encourage our patients to be independent and work closely with therapy staff to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• License: Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
