Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Rehabilitation unit in Missouri. The role focuses on delivering personalized patient care and collaborating with therapy staff to help patients regain independence and reintegrate into the community.

The RN will apply the nursing process, ensure patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate care with other departments while upholding Mercy's mission and service standards.

Qualifications

• RN license in state and/or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers and coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Position Details:

The Acute Rehab is 12 bed unit with Mercy Pittsburg that strives to get patients back into the community successfully. Acute Rehabilitation Unit provides a healing environment where patients receive personalized care tailored to their unique needs. We encourage our patients to be independent and work closely with therapy staff to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• License: Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
