Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a Rehabilitation Staff Nurse to support patients adapting to an alternative lifestyle within inpatient and outpatient settings. The role emphasizes evidence-based self-care strategies and holistic health, across acute and subacute care.

The ideal candidate holds Colorado RN licensure (or multi-state RN), BLS certification, and 1–3 years of medical-surgical or rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or active multistate RN license (required).
• BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required).
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary and Qualifications

The rehabilitation staff nurse assists clients in adapting to an alternative lifestyle, while providing a therapeutic environment for patients’ and their families’ development. The rehabilitation staff nurse designs and implements treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self‑care and that promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health. The rehabilitation staff nurse works in inpatient and outpatient settings and in acute and subacute settings.

What qualifications you will need:

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license. BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.

Experience: Rehabilitation, Ortho, Neuro, or TCU experience preferred. 1‑3 years medical‑surgical experience preferred.
