Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check as required by the State of Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care in multiple settings: Pediatrics, Medical, Surgical, Emergency, Senior Care, Nursery, Chemotherapy and Ambulance Transport as needed/delegated.
• Maintains certifications in all areas within scope of practice.
• Supervision of LPNs, Nursing Assistants and Health Unit Coordinators as needed.
• Effectively utilize nursing process: Initiates and maintains patient care plans reflecting current patient needs using computerized documentation.
• Ensure privacy and dignity of patients; follow confidentiality policies and support patient advocacy.
• Demonstrate initiative, time management, and willingness to train new staff.
• Demonstrate teamwork, mentor newcomers, and support organizational change.
• Communications: maintain policies/procedures and accurate documentation of patient information.
