Job summary

Geisinger is seeking attentive Registered Nurses for the BP6 Medical-Surgical Remote Telemetry unit. This full-time night shift role supports a diverse surgical service line, with a shared scheduling model to cover 7p–7a shifts and alternating weekends/holidays.

You will assess and deliver direct patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in safety and quality initiatives. A PA nursing license and strong clinical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in PA or eligible for licensure.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Strong communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide direct patient care including treatments and medications.
• Develop and revise care plans with patient and family education.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
